The Association of Nigerian Women Business Network (ANWBN) is a coalition of over 70 women business associations, set up in the year 2013 with the common goal of encouraging and improving sustainable entrepreneurial development among women through research, advocacy and policy reform initiatives. In a country where women were still actively side-lined, this coalition was birthed solely to improve the economic status of women which would ultimately improve their families and the country’s economy consequently.

National Coordinator

Otunba Olugbemisola Oduntan, CEO of Sofi Farms Ltd (Trading as Sofi Foods), brings a wealth of experience across education, banking, social administration, human resources, entrepreneurship, and coaching. A TFO Canada trained export trainer, with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from the University of Jos and a post-graduate diploma in Public Administration from the University of Birmingham.

The Association of Nigerian Women Business Network (ANWBN) Awarded $19,985 Grant to Empower Women Entrepreneurs in Northern Nigeria with Digital Skills

[Abuja, FCT, 30 September, 2024] – The Association of Nigerian Women Business Network (ANWBN) is excited to announce it has been awarded a $19,985 grant to implement the “Digital Literacy & E-commerce Training for Women-Owned Businesses” project. This initiative will empower women entrepreneurs in three communities across Northern Nigeria, equipping them with essential digital skills to thrive in today’s economy and bridge the digital divide.
