ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN WOMEN BUSINESS NETWORK

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2024

Inspire Inclusion Conference.

2024 International Women’s Day was celebrated by ANWBN in two locations. We actually wanted to celebrate it in the 6 geo-political zones and the Federal Capital of Nigeria so that many of our members can be included in the program. We succeeded with two locations this year and hope to keep increasing it.

The first location was Kano where the NW coordinator, Saratu Miller put together a superb digital training for young girls in Government Girls College Dala, Kano with the support of Techdev and FCMB.

The report is attached.

The second event was in Abuja with the support of Unity Bank on March 26th, 2024.

It was a very interactive and fun event with the women winning prizes ranging from cash to food warmers to spa treatments to pedicure and manicure sessions.

The associations represented were also given POS machines.
The guest speakers all spoke on how to inspire women to inclusion in the areas of financial inclusion, entrepreneurial development and adapting to the new normal of the current business climate.
We had over 70 participants join us on and off online while physical participants were over 300.

We thank all our members who made this a reality. All media reports are hereby attached.
Till next year when we converge to celebrate ourselves again we say;
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’s DAY 2024
